Seagrave is well located to the road network & consequently easy to get to. The simplest directions are: coming north, find the A46 going North from Leicester and take third left after the “Hobby Horse” island, or, coming south, take the second left on the A46 after crossing the Leicestershire border, or continue to the Little Chef & turn right across the A46: both are signed for Seagrave. Here’s a ‘Find the route’ map to help you get here, or click the map to see  where we are.

Text Box: Seagrave is a small village nestling in the Leicestershire Wolds (it sits in a bowl in the landscape, which used to cause the prevailing westerly wind to blow coal- & log-fire smoke back down chimneys, rather like blowing over an open bottle) and has a lot going for it: witness the number of people who have moved here in recent years. The population has grown from c.300 in 1960 to 525 currently but it retains the laid-back, pleasantly rural feel that so many people enjoy. It’s well located to the road networks with quick access to Loughborough, Leicester and M1, Rutland, Nottingham, Newark & Derby & consequently easy to find.
